Description
The DMN960IE 990 Series Manual Call Point is an addressable, waterproof manual call point designed for use outdoors and in places where moisture and dirt may be a problem. It is compliant with EN54-11/17 and can be used with the 900 series device range on Aritech addressable panels. It is shipped with an easily resettable element rather than a break glass.
Operating Principles
All 960 series call points are addressed at the commissioning stage by means of a seven-segment DIL switch. The DMN960IE 990 Series Manual Call Point incorporates a short circuit isolator that ensures its operation in the event of a short circuit fault on the loop.
A single bi-coloured alarm LED is provided on the call point. The LED may be controlled independently of the call point from the FP1200/2000 fire panel. The LED is illuminated RED when the call point has been activated, or AMBER/YELLOW to indicate a short circuit.
Installation And Operation
The DMN960IE helps reduce installation time as all the initial installation cabling is wired to a terminal block that fits neatly in the back of the call point. Once activated the call point can be easily reset by using the supplied test key and simply pushing the front cover up.

All manual call points in the 960 series have been tested and approved by LPCB and a number of other approval authorities.
