Description
The DM970 Apollo XP95 Series is an intrinsically safe manual call point. It should be used together with the PT971/2 protocol translator and GBX70 barrier. It is based on a standard weatherproof manual call point and features an “interrupt” facility to provide fast response to an alarm.
Application
When activated, the intrinsically safe call point interrupts the polling cycle to indicate to the control panel that it has been operated. Because of this feature, an alarm can be reported in less than 0.2 seconds.
The DM970 Apollo XP95 Series Intrinsically Safe Manual Call Point has the same operating characteristics as the standard manual call point versions. It is a red, break-glass call point to which a protective lift-up flap may be added as an option.
