Description
The DC-9204E is a conventional manual call point for use on compatible conventional systems. It allows user interaction with the fire alarm system for manual alarm reporting.
Operation
An alarm is reported by pressing the resettable element. The alarm is confirmed by the DC-9204E by an illuminated LED. The alarm is signaled automatically to the conventional fire alarm zone. To reset a special key is supplied with the unit.
Installation
The DC-9204E is simply connected by two wires to any compatible fire alarm zone monitor where it gets its power and reports events using the same 2 wires. The provided reset key is also used to unlock the MCP.
The DC-9204E is suitable for public places where accidental activation can be avoided by using an optional protection flip cover (D-92FC). For outdoor applications a weatherproof enclosure (D-92WPB) is additionally available. |
